1. Who we are

SelfAI - AI Photo Studio ("SelfAI", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Rocket Digital Limited, 1603, The L Plaza, 367-375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong. You can reach us at hello@rocketdigital.ai.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the AI Photo Studio: the selfies or reference photos you upload, an account identifier (email or anonymous ID), purchase and subscription state, device identifiers required for crash reporting and advertising preferences, and usage analytics described below.

3. How we use your information

  • Generate AI headshots, portraits, and personal branding photos from the images you upload.
  • Maintain your account, entitlements, and purchase history across iOS, Android, and the web studio.
  • Improve reliability through crash reports, logs, and performance metrics.
  • Measure conversion events (e.g. app store clicks) to understand how SelfAI is discovered.
  • Respond to support requests you send us.

4. Third-party services we rely on

SelfAI integrates carefully selected third-party services. Each provider only receives the minimum data required to deliver its function.

RevenueCat

Purpose: Subscription management, entitlement checks, and receipt validation for in-app purchases on iOS and Android.

Data shared: Anonymous user ID, subscription state, platform, purchase events.

Firebase (Google LLC)

Purpose: Authentication, crash reporting, remote configuration, cloud storage for uploaded photos and generated portraits.

Data shared: Account email or anonymous ID, device identifiers, crash logs, uploaded image files.

Google AdMob

Purpose: Limited advertising on the free tier of the mobile app.

Data shared: Advertising identifier (where permitted), coarse device info, ad interaction events.

OpenAI

Purpose: Text generation and prompt assembly for portrait style guidance.

Data shared: Prompt text sent to the model. We do not send selfies to OpenAI.

Microsoft Azure

Purpose: Cloud infrastructure for image storage, processing queues, and the web studio backend.

Data shared: Encrypted image files, generation job metadata, logs.

Replicate

Purpose: AI inference for portrait generation and editing.

Data shared: The selfie or reference image, the generation prompt, the returned image URL.

Fal.ai

Purpose: Secondary AI inference provider for portrait generation jobs.

Data shared: The selfie or reference image, the generation prompt, the returned image URL.

Google Analytics 4

Purpose: Aggregated analytics about how the website and web studio are used.

Data shared: Anonymised IP, device and browser info, page views, custom events (e.g. iOS_App_Store_Click, GooglePlay_Store_Click).

Meta Pixel

Purpose: Conversion measurement and audience building on Meta platforms.

Data shared: Browser event data, page views, conversion events.

Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights

Purpose: Privacy-friendly web performance and audience metrics.

Data shared: Aggregated page views, core web vitals, referrer, no personal identifiers.

5. How long we keep your data

Uploaded selfies and generated portraits are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual photos from inside the app or request full deletion by emailing hello@rocketdigital.ai. Subscription records are retained for as long as accounting law requires.

6. Children's privacy

SelfAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has submitted data, we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing hello@rocketdigital.ai. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA — including the right to object to processing and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. SelfAI does not sell personal information.

8. Cookies and tracking

The SelfAI website uses cookies and similar technologies for Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and Vercel Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics via browser settings and of Meta Pixel through your Meta ads preferences. Custom events such as iOS_App_Store_Click and GooglePlay_Store_Click are used strictly to understand conversion performance in aggregate.

9. Security

We use industry standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure; we work to limit what is stored and for how long.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change and mark the updated date at the top. For material changes we will also notify active users inside the app.
